Traditional Scientific-Practical Conference on “Current Issues of Source Studies, Historiography, and Methods and Methodology of Historical Research” Held
On May 15, 2025, a traditional scientific-practical conference on the topic “Current Issues of Source Studies, Historiography, and Methods and Methodology of Historical Research” was held at the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies with the participation of students, master’s and doctoral students, and young researchers studying in the field of history.
During the conference, presentations were delivered on the following topics: methods for studying and analyzing historical sources, new approaches in modern historiography, practical experiences of working with archival documents, current methodological issues in historical research, and stages of the development of historical science in Uzbekistan.
The event also welcomed guests from various higher educational institutions.
The conference played an important role in enhancing the academic potential of young historians, engaging them more actively in research activities, and strengthening scientific cooperation.
