TSUOS Team at the “Memorial to the Victims of Repression” Complex
On September 11, 2025, at the “Memorial to the Victims of Repression” complex located in Yunusabad district of Tashkent, a spiritual and educational event entitled “Jadids: Eternal Memory, Great Legacy!” was held with the participation of students of Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies.
The event was organized to honor the memory of the Jadid intellectuals who devoted their lives to the freedom, independence, and progress of Uzbekistan, and to foster in the younger generation a sense of respect for national values, historical memory, and spiritual heritage.
The event was attended by TSUOS Rector Gulchehra Rikhsiyeva, Director of the State Museum of Remembrance of the Victims of Repression Bakhtiyor Khasanov, the university’s faculty members, and first-year students admitted in the 2025–2026 academic year.
This event played an important role in strengthening the national self-awareness of young people and serves as a vital foundation for stepping confidently into the future through the prism of historical memory.
