TSUOS Rector Gulchehra Rikhsieva and University Delegation Visit TURKSOY Headquarters in Ankara
On October 20, a delegation from Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies (TSUOS) led by Rector Gulchehra Rikhsieva visited the headquarters of the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY) in Ankara and held extensive talks with the organization’s Secretary General, Sultan Raev.
During the meeting, the parties discussed proposals to implement joint research projects in the field of Turkology, organize scientific and practical conferences and seminars, and continue close cooperation in conducting academic, cultural, and educational events in partnership with TURKSOY.
Rector Gulchehra Rikhsieva also shared her initiatives to create new opportunities for young scholars and researchers, as well as to expand the scope of scientific projects in Turkology.
At the conclusion of the visit, both sides agreed to maintain continuous cooperation in implementing new projects and programs and reached a mutual understanding on establishing a TURKSOY Center at TSUOS in 2026.
