TSUOS Students Visited the Museum of Victims of Repression
On November 6, 2025, professors and students of Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies visited the Museum of Victims of Repression and the Memorial Square of Martyrs in Tashkent.
During the visit, aimed at studying the lives and activities of compatriots who became victims of political repression, preserving their memory, and strengthening historical awareness among youth, Professors Mirsodik Iskhokov and Rustam Sharipov provided detailed information about the Jadid movement, its role in the history of the Uzbek national awakening, and the courage shown by its representatives during the period of political repression.
During the meeting, students learned about the historical events of the 1920s–1930s, the lives of Jadid intellectuals who devoted themselves to the freedom, enlightenment, and independence of their nation, and the tragic fate they suffered during the years of repression.
The visit became a valuable historical lesson for the youth, further strengthening their sense of patriotism and respect for national values.
