The TSUOS Tourism Working Group conducted seminars and training sessions in schools across the Fergana region on tourism-related sites.
In accordance with the instruction of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated May 6, 2025, No. 01-16-237, as well as the tasks outlined in the Presidential Resolutions PQ–135 dated April 26, 2023, and PQ–269 dated July 18, 2024, the action plan for the 2025 tourism season aimed at enhancing the tourism potential of territories assigned to higher education institutions is being consistently implemented.
As part of fulfilling these directives, the Tourism Working Group led by Associate Professor of Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies, PhD Bobir Odilov, collected historically, culturally, and scientifically grounded information on tourism sites in the Rishtan district of Fergana region and conducted research aimed at increasing their potential.
Additionally, as practical measures to improve the quality of tourism services in the region, short-term courses, seminars, and training sessions were organized for specialists in the hotel industry and service sector. During the sessions, participants received knowledge on service culture, tourism infrastructure management, effective use of the region’s historical and cultural heritage, as well as international tourism standards.
