China–Uzbekistan Friendship Art Evening “Dance of Sea and Land: Fragrance of Tea on the Silk Road” Held at TSUOS
On May 23, 2025, the China–Uzbekistan friendship art evening titled “Dance of Sea and Land: Fragrance of Tea on the Silk Road” was held at Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies.
This cultural event was jointly organized by the Embassy of China in Uzbekistan, the Department of Culture and Tourism of Fujian Province, and TSUOS
The evening featured musical and dance performances under the theme “Spring Waves on the Silk Road.” Artists from Fujian and Uzbekistan revived the spirit of the ancient Silk Road through their performances.
The event included lively shows by the “Asal” children’s dance group, the “Navbahor” dance ensemble, and athletes from the Uzbekistan Wushu Association. The blend of tea culture, wushu, folk music, and dance left a lasting impression on the audience.
The aim of the event was to promote intercultural dialogue among students and youth, strengthen creative collaboration, and reinforce international cultural relations.
