A Roundtable Discussion on “Grace and Enlightenment – the Symbol of Girls” Held at TSUOS
In accordance with the UN General Assembly resolution adopted on December 19, 2011, October 11 is celebrated as the International Day of the Girl Child. On this occasion, on October 11, 2025, Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies organized a roundtable discussion on the topic “Grace and Enlightenment – the Symbol of Girls.”
The event was attended by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to Uzbekistan, active female leaders, university professors, and female students. During the discussion, participants addressed the role of girls in society, their access to education, and ways to enhance their participation in science, culture, and social life. Female students also expressed their opinions and proposed ideas to support the spiritual and intellectual development of the younger generation.
Special attention was given to protecting the rights of women and girls, ensuring gender equality, and fostering the moral maturity of young people.
The meeting took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere, emphasizing the importance of helping girls realize their potential, develop leadership qualities, and take an active role in social life.
