On November 8, 2025, within the framework of the international conference “Uzbekistan–China: Development of Historical, Cultural, Scientific and Economic Relations,” a meeting was held at the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies with a delegation from the Northwest Normal University of China, headed by Vice President Ma Libang.
During the meeting, the parties discussed ways to strengthen the historically friendly relations between Uzbekistan and China, expand cooperation in the fields of higher education and scientific research, and promote student and faculty exchanges.
The participants also exchanged views on the prospects for implementing joint scientific projects and academic programs, enhancing cultural exchange, and further consolidating strategic partnership between the two countries.
