A delegation from Minzu University of China visited TSUOS
On September 16, 2025, a delegation (consisting of 3 members) led by Professor Chen Tiansyu, Dean of the Faculty of International Education of Minzu University of the People’s Republic of China, visited Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies. During the visit, issues of establishing cooperation between the two higher education institutions and strengthening ties in education, science, and culture were discussed.
During the negotiations, opportunities for cooperation were explored in areas such as student and faculty exchanges, the creation of joint educational programs, the implementation of collaborative research projects, and the organization of cultural exchange events.
As part of the student exchange agreements, it was agreed to expand opportunities for students of Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies to study at Minzu University for one semester or one academic year. These exchange programs aim to strengthen students’ knowledge of the Chinese language, provide closer familiarity with China’s cultural and social life, and offer experience in an international academic environment.
At the same time, opportunities will be created for faculty to undertake internships, conduct research, and participate in joint conferences and seminars. In particular, to promote academic exchange, both universities plan to hold online and offline master classes and cultural forums. The cooperation is expected to elevate academic relations to a new level, creating opportunities for students and faculty to develop in the international arena.
