Promotion of Tourism and Education: Orientalists in Boysun Schools
On October 2, 2025, the Tourism Working Group of the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies organized seminar-trainings at general education schools No. 1 and No. 39 in the Boysun district. The purpose of the event was to widely promote the tourism potential of the region and to familiarize the younger generation with national values, the rich cultural heritage, and the tourism opportunities of Boysun.
During the event, the Head of the Department of Tourism, PhD in History, Associate Professor Ch. Khusanov gave a detailed presentation to students about the historical monuments, traditional handicraft practices, breathtaking natural landscapes, and modern tourism opportunities of Boysun. He emphasized that Boysun is one of the most attractive destinations not only in Surkhandarya region but also throughout Uzbekistan.
As part of the seminar, a quiz titled “Do You Know About Tourism?” was conducted among students, and the most active participants were awarded with memorable gifts.
In the final part of the event, career guidance activities were carried out to introduce graduating students to the field of tourism and assist them in choosing a profession in this sphere.
The seminar-trainings organized by the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies serve not only to improve the quality of education but also to promote the tourism potential of our country among youth.
Participants noted that the integration of education and tourism plays an important role in raising a well-rounded, active, and patriotic young generation.
