Uzbekistan–United Kingdom Education Forum
On May 16, 2025, the second day of the Uzbekistan–United Kingdom Education Forum was held at the Regent Campus of the University of Westminster in London.
During the forum, Gulchehra Rixsiyeva, Rector of Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies (TSUOS), delivered a presentation at one of the forum’s key sessions entitled “Inclusive Higher Education.” In her speech, she highlighted the ongoing reforms in the field of inclusive education in Uzbekistan and presented TSUOS’s strategies for advancing inclusivity through international cooperation.
The session focused on discussions related to the development of inclusive university curricula, the launch of new collaborative projects, and the exchange of experiences based on the “Good Practice Guide.”
The active participation of the TSUOS delegation in the forum represents an important step toward strengthening international cooperation and expanding academic partnerships.
At the conclusion of the session, the leadership of the University of Westminster announced that a new project on inclusive education, involving higher education institutions from Uzbekistan, would be funded by the British Council. TSUOS will participate in the project as one of its partner institutions.
