“ORIENTAL LAB” startup laboratory
At Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies, the “ORIENTAL LAB” startup laboratory has been launched on the initiative of the Department of Economics and Management and the Center for Sustainable Economic Development. This center is aimed at transforming students’ innovative ideas into practical projects, fostering a startup culture, and strengthening practical skills in the field of economic digitalization. The laboratory provides students and young researchers with opportunities to test their projects, work with mentors, and gain hands-on experience.
This initiative is implemented in line with the goals of SDG 8 – Decent Work and Economic Growth, focusing on developing youth entrepreneurship, engaging them in innovation, and creating new job opportunities. Through “ORIENTAL LAB,” participants acquire essential competencies in startup management, business plan development, and effective performance in the digital economy.
As a result, the laboratory contributes to increasing youth economic activity, enhancing their competitiveness in the labor market, and promoting innovative projects that support sustainable economic growth.
