New Areas of Cooperation Discussed Between Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies and Baku State University
As part of his visit to Baku State University, Shukhrat Mirziyotov, Vice-Rector of Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies, met with Alish Agamirzayev, Vice-Rector for Social Affairs, and Mirza Mirzayev, Vice-Rector for Financial Affairs. During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the establishment of an Uzbek Language Center at Baku State University and identified promising areas for further cooperation.
A separate meeting was also held with Ibrahim Zeynalov, Dean of the Faculty of History, Kamala Aytan, Deputy Dean, and Rauf Hasanov, Head of the University’s International Relations Department. The participants discussed issues related to launching a joint Double Degree Master’s program in “Ethnography, Ethnology and Anthropology” between Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies and Baku State University and reached agreements on its practical implementation.
