The Republican Women’s Public Council and the Commission on Gender Equality held an extended joint meeting
The meeting was chaired by the Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis Tanzila Kamolovna Narbayeva. In his introductory remarks, the Speaker of the Senate congratulated the women who were awarded the State Prizes on the eve of the 30th anniversary of our independence. Professor N. Karimova and Director of the Uzbek-Chinese Confucius Institute S. Nosirova are among those who took part in the meeting.
The meeting also discussed issues related to the employment of women, the involvement of young women in research, the creation of projects in a number of topical issues. The meeting was also attended by a member of the Gender Commission, Rector of TSUOS G. Rikhsieva.
