ABOUT 2nd SPECIALTY
Regulations on the procedure for obtaining a second and subsequent education in educational institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan, approved by the resolution of the State Commission for admission to educational institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan at the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies, organized training for obtaining a second and subsequent higher education.
In accordance with the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Education”, persons with higher (secondary specialized, vocational) education have the right to receive a second and subsequent higher (secondary specialized, vocational) education in the manner prescribed by paragraph 2 of this article of these Rules.
Education in the second and subsequent higher (secondary specialized, vocational) education is carried out on a paid (contract) basis.
The procedure and conditions for concluding an agreement (agreement) for paying for tuition on a paid basis are determined by the Regulations “On the form of paid-contractual education in educational institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the procedure for distributing funds”
Persons with a higher education at the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies can obtain a second education under the existing undergraduate programs available at the university.
The admission of applicants to the second and subsequent higher (secondary specialized, vocational) education is carried out by the selection committee of the educational institution. The admission rates for the second and subsequent higher education cannot exceed the admission plan (for bachelor’s and master’s degrees, respectively) established for an educational institution in certain areas of study (specialties).
