International online conference on “The Role of NationalDiplomacy in Strengthening close cooperation between Uzbekistan and Japan” organized
Under the support of the Embassy, the Committee on Interethnic Relations and Friendship Relations with Foreign Countries jointly with the Friendship Societies of Uzbekistan and Japan organized an international online conference on “The role of public diplomacy in strengthening close cooperation between Uzbekistan and Japan”.
The sides discussed the state and prospects of friendly relations between Uzbekistan and Japan, in particular the role of public diplomacy in the development of bilateral relations in cultural and humanitarian, tourism, education, trade and economic spheres.
Following the event, the sides agreed to work out proposals on holding various cultural events in connection with the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Uzbekistan and Japan, as well as on the resumption of delegations exchange after the situation with coronavirus infection is stabilized.
