Integration of education and production
On October 12, 2022, a delegation led by In-chang Choi, president of the South Korean company “Tashkent Development Construction Company (TDC.Co)” visited Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies. The delegation included the company’s executive advisor Young-boon Kim, company director Joong-wook Lee and general manager Yun-chang Song.
At the meeting, rector of TSUOS G.Rikhsieva it was noted that that the strategic cooperation between Uzbekistan and South Korea is developing, on the basis of this, the state visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoev to the Republic of Korea on December 16-18, last year, opened a new page in the development of Uzbekistan-Korea relations, its results serve to bring our countries and peoples closer together. Also, it was noted that the contribution of Korean businessmen in the development of relations between the two countries is significantly increasing.
During the meeting, In-chang Choi, president of “Tashkent Development Construction Company (TDC.Co)” company, in his speech, gave a high assessment of the work being carried out at the university, gave a close introduction to the activities of this company, and discussed the issues of expanding cooperation with the university in the future including cooperation with the international university under construction in Nurafshon District of Tashkent region.
At the end of the meeting, it was recognized that the proposals for cooperation between TSUOS and “Tashkent Development Construction Company (TDC.So)” are mutually beneficial, in connection with the 30th anniversary of the establishment of relations between Korea and Uzbekistan, in the near future it was agreed to sign a memorandum of understanding on the organization of lectures at the university and students’ internships in these companies.
