Symbol of friendship of Belarus and Uzbekistan
On 24th of August 2018, in Tashkent city was held solemn ceremony of unveiling of the bust of Belarusian writer, poet and translator, public figure Yakub Kolas. He was one of the classical author and founder of new Belarusian literature, which lived and worked in the capital of Uzbekistan from 1941-1943.
At the ceremony took part deputy of the prime minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Nodir Otajonov, deputy of the prime minister of the Republic of Belarus Mikhail I. Rusyi. Along with representatives of different organizations at the ceremony of unveiling of the bust of Yakub Kolas took part the representatives of Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies.
