Tashkent State Institute of Oriental Studies is one of the most prestigious educational institutions in the country, training qualified personnel in the field of languages, history, culture, economy, politics and translation of  Oriental countries. The institute has all the conditions for a high level of educational process and research. At the university, qualified teachers teach students about Oriental languages. The cooperation of the university with international organizations and foreign educational institutions and the scale of projects implemented with them is growing from year to year.

Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PP-4680 “On measures to radically improve the system of training in the field of Oriental Studies and increase its scientific potential,” signed on April 16, 2020, was a real good news for all.Accordingly, the establishment of the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies on the basis of the Institute of Oriental Studies has lifted the spirits of researchers like us.

The main purpose of the decision is to train specialists in the field of Oriental Studies who can meet world standards, to radically improve the educational process, to educate students on the basis of oriental values. In addition, the resolution  provides for the establishment of joint educational programs in cooperation with foreign universities in new areas and specialties that are promising for our country, as well as the implementation of international projects. This can be a program for students to become good professionals in the future.

Taking into account the transition of the university to a system of self-financing, teachers should review the workload on the basis of advanced foreign experience, attract talented students, masters and doctoral students to research projects, creative content of education, the introduction of educational technologies that serve the development of enrichment with materials, innovative ideas and developments will ensure the international competitiveness of the university.

Such attention of our state to the field of oriental studies, of course, will not only serve the further development of oriental studies and the preservation of the cultural heritage of the East, but also increase the love of teachers and students for the Motherland.
