The project “Formation of language skills in Eastern languages (Turkish, Arabic and Persian) and creating braille textbooks for the blind and visually impaired people” developed by TSUOS was accepted to the 86 types of practical and innovative projects competition, “Female Scholars” announced by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan. A national electronic system of foreign language teaching from level A1 to B1 based on CEFR requirements for 3 Eastern languages (Turkish, Arabic and Persian) and Braille textbooks aimed at developing reading and writing skills are created for blind and visually impaired people.

It is aimed that the recommended textbooks are based on the communicative, typhlo pedagogical method, and students should be able to listen and understand speech in Turkish, Arabic and Persian according to the international standard of language skills – CEFR, listen to the audio materials included on the topics of the manual, reflect on their content, speak on the specified topic and level, follow the intonation rules, develop speaking skills at the level specified in the program and to write the materials in braille from level A1 to B1 of each language. Taking into account the phonetic potential of each language, textbooks prepared Taking into account the phonetic possibilities of each language, textbooks prepared in Braille teach students the most necessary knowledge – writing, and reading skills, as well as the grammatical rules of the language during the process of their formation.

The scientific project will result in the creation of Braille textbooks aimed at developing language skills in three Eastern languages (Turkish, Arabic, and Persian).  Additionally, within the framework of the national electronic system for evaluating foreign languages at the B1 level, a factual and electronic database will be created for developing new-generation Braille textbooks and a national electronic system for evaluating foreign languages at the B1 level for other Eastern languages – Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Hindi, Pashto, Dari, Urdu, Malay, Indonesian, and Vietnamese. These resources will be based on the CEFR requirements and implemented into the educational process.
