Education Outreach Activities Beyond Campus: Kokand University
On August 13, 2024, a scientific-practical seminar was held at Kokand University on the topic “Prospects for Training Highly Qualified Specialists in the Tourism Sector in Line with Modern Demands: Challenges and Solutions”.
The event was organized as an educational initiative aimed at developing the tourism sector in Uzbekistan through innovative approaches, training qualified personnel, and facilitating interregional exchange of experience.
Representatives of Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies (TSUOS) also took part in the seminar. The Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs and Innovation at TSUOS, D. Sayfullaev, delivered a lecture on “Opportunities for Developing Ethnotourism in the Districts of Rishton, Chust, Yangikurgan, and Boysun” sharing the university’s research activities and educational initiatives implemented in practical cooperation with local regions.
