16.3.3. PARTICIPATION IN GOVERNMENT RESEARCH

 

In the 2024–2025 academic year, the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies significantly expanded its engagement in research activities that contribute to national policy development and innovation. Many university researchers collaborated with government institutions, particularly the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan, by officially registering their intellectual property and software products. These initiatives support national priorities in education, linguistics, psychology, and digital innovation.

All patents, registered programs, and research outputs of TSUOS are publicly accessible on Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies Institutional Repository (Toshkent davlat sharqshunoslik universiteti institutsional repozitoriysi) — an official online platform that provides open access to the university’s research, publications, and innovation results.

Below are key examples of TSUOS’s research projects registered with the Ministry of Justice:

  1. Gulshoda Yunusova, Associate Professor, School of Korean Studies – developed the program “Korean Language Writing System” (Certificate No. DGU 48288).

  1. Karima Rakhmonberdieva, Associate Professor, Department of Western Languages – created an electronic platform “Organizing Independent Learning of English for Oriental Studies Students” (Certificate No. DGU 009012).

  1. Rustem Allanyazov, Lecturer, School of Translation Studies and International Journalism – designed a program “Research and Development of a Semantic Machine Translation Method from English to Karakalpak” (Certificate No. DGU 48194).

  1. Maktuba Murtazakhodjaeva, Senior Lecturer, School of South Asian Languages and Literature – developed the educational program “Conversation Book (Uzbek–Hindi; Hindi–Uzbek)” (Certificate No. DGU 37391).

  1. Shoira Abdullaeva, Doctor of Psychology, Department of Pedagogy and Psychology – authored the digital educational resource “Artistic Translation: A Textbook” (Certificate No. DGU 42582).

  1. Iskhakov and B. Goyibov – prepared the handbook “History of the Sogdian Language” (Certificate No. 008063).

  1. Sabokhat Xashimova – developed a program “Reduplication, Affixation, and Conversion in the Chinese Language” (Certificate No. DGU 202410742).

  1. Emina Izzetova and Yekaterina Li – conducted a joint research “Philosophical Analysis of Information and Digital Technologies as Factors of Social Change” (Certificate No. DGU 40220).

  1. Sayyora Kamalova – created the electronic textbook “Developmental and Educational Psychology” (Certificate No. DGU 52302).

  1. Rustam Sharipov – developed the educational resource “Artistic Translation: A Textbook” (Certificate No. DGU 42582).

  1. Aytjamol Yunusova – received a certificate on “Deposition of Copyright Objects” (Certificate No. 007681) from the Intellectual Property Agency under the Ministry of Justice.

 

Research Projects in Collaboration with Government and International Partners

In addition to the patents, TSUOS has implemented several national and international scientific-practical projects in collaboration with ministries, state agencies, and foreign partners. These projects aim to support public policy development, promote cultural and educational initiatives, and contribute to regional cooperation.
