8.2.7. TRACKING PAY SCALE FOR GENDER EQUITY
Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies (TSUOS) ensures fair and equitable remuneration for all employees in line with the principles of decent work and economic growth. The University systematically tracks pay scales disaggregated by gender and position to identify and eliminate any unjustified pay disparities.
Gender equality policy applies at Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies. In order to determine gender equality at the university, fees are distributed equally to everyone. Both men and women are provided with a monthly salary in accordance with KPI, depending on the type of work, position, rate, educational load, and contribution to the development of the university.
In accordance with Chapter 5, Clause 52 of the Collective Agreement entitled “Guaranteed Payments. Compensation Payments”, salaries are paid in accordance with the procedure established by the laws and regulations of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
In accordance with the Labor Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the following durations of the working week are established in the system: the normal duration of working time for an employee in a five-day or six-day working week may not exceed forty hours per week (Article 182 of the Labor Code); The reduced duration of working time shall be mandatorily set at no more than 36 hours for the following categories (Article 183 of the Labor Code).
