Accessible facilities Provide accessible facilities for people with disabilities
Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies has 7 orphans, 46 students with disabilities, 67 students enrolled in the iron register, youth register, and women’s register. In 2022, the university is providing financial support to winners of national and international competitions, students who are role models for the community, actively participating in various spiritual and educational events, also in need of social protection, distressed, who have lost their breadwinners, and who live in rented accommodation. Including:
– A total of 104,100,000 soums of rent was paid to 347 students living in rented accommodation;
– 148,883,894 soums of financial assistance was provided for those in need of social protection;
– 666,800,000 soums were spent on work with youth and spiritual and educational work;
– Funds in the amount of 33,600,000 soums were allocated for the autumn festival of oriental students;
– Funds in the amount of 40,600,000 soums were allocated for the festival of oriental studies students.
In cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, 52 female students who were recommended to study at Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies on the basis of a basic fee-contract and representatives of socially needy families studying in 1-2-3-4 courses, were orphaned or deprived of parental care was paid.
Also, on December 7, 2022, the university rector’s decision №386-UM on the provision of subsidies to orphaned students studying at Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies. During the current period, an order was issued to allocate subsidies for the purchase of educational scientific and fiction literature (books) in the amount of 5 times the base calculation amount from the State budget funds once per academic year. According to this order, subsidies were allocated to the students concerned.
