An initiative of students
On May 13, 2024, an environmental campaign titled “Green University” was held at Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies with the aim of increasing students’ environmental awareness, promoting a greener environment, and contributing to sustainable development.
As part of the event, students actively participated in landscaping the university campus, planting trees and flowers, and engaging in initiatives that reflect their concern for the environment. During the campaign, participants also held discussions on the importance of maintaining ecological cleanliness around educational institutions and managing waste within the framework of the “Green Campus” concept.
By taking part in this eco-action, students not only demonstrated care for nature but also recognized their vital role in fostering environmental consciousness within society.
