Conference dedicated to the Hindi language
On March 13-14, 2024, Ulfatkhan Muhibova, professor of Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies, participated in the “Hindi in Eurasia and India: Present & Future” organized at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University at the invitation of the Indian Embassy. Indologists from the CIS countries: Russia, Belarus, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan and scientists from India took part in the conference. At the conference, lectures were delivered mainly in three areas – linguistics, literary studies and language teaching methodology. Ulfatkhan Muhibova chaired the Session on Literary Studies at this conference and participated with her lecture on “Medieval Indian Literature”. The presentation of newly published books by Indian experts was also held at the conference. Materials of the international conference were published as a collection and handed over to the participants.
