Confucius Institutes Forum
On September 27, 2024, an international forum was held at Beijing University of Foreign Languages and Culture to mark the 20th anniversary of Confucius Institutes. The event was recognized as a significant platform for strengthening global cooperation in the field of education.
At the forum, Professor Saodat Nasirova from Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies, and Director of the Confucius Institute in Uzbekistan, was awarded for her 10 years of exemplary service. She delivered a speech at the opening ceremony as the director of the very first Confucius Institute established in the world.
Additionally, a congratulatory message from the Rector of TSUOS, Professor Gulchehra Rikhsieva, dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Confucius Institutes, was presented during the forum.
This participation and recognition contribute to deepening cultural and educational ties between Uzbekistan and China and serve to strengthen sustainable partnerships among higher education institutions.
