In the 2024-2025 academic year, 17 teachers are teaching at the Department of Foreign Economic Activities. Among them: 1 Doctor of Sciences, 2 Candidates of Sciences (Associate Professors), 3 PhDs (2 Associate Professors and 1 Senior Lecturer), 1 Senior Lecturer, 1 Lecturer and 8 interns, as well as 1 foreign teacher. The scientific potential of the department is 35%.
In addition, the department has 3 basic doctoral students and about 10 independent researchers who conduct research in the areas corresponding to the scientific directions.
The department trains specialists in the bachelor’s degree program 60411900 – World Economy and International Economic Relations and in the master’s degree program 70411902 – Foreign Economic Activity (Foreign Economic Trade).
The 60411900 program — World Economy and International Economic Relations — includes such disciplines as macroeconomics, microeconomics, statistics, world economy and international economic relations, world economic geography, international monetary and credit relations, foreign economic activity, and a number of elective subjects. Master’s students in the 70411902 program — Foreign Economic Activity (Foreign Economic Trade) — study such subjects as business analytics, methods of teaching special disciplines, attracting and managing foreign investment, international trade law and trade practice, international business contracts, international logistics, and a number of elective subjects.
