Education Outreach Activities Beyond Campus: School No. 133 / 3
As part of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 4 – “Quality Education”, Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies organized another extracurricular workshop aimed at expanding access to inclusive and equitable education. The session was held at Specialized School No. 133 in Tashkent, which focuses on the Japanese language.
Given the school’s specialization, the TSUOS team conducted a cultural and educational event dedicated to one of the key elements of Japanese culture – Origami. During the workshop, students not only learned the fundamentals of origami art but also deepened their understanding of Japanese culture, aesthetics, and philosophy.
Such initiatives are part of TSUOS’s ongoing commitment to educational outreach beyond campus, encouraging young learners’ interest in foreign languages and cultures while strengthening cooperation between the university and general education institutions.
