Energy reviews

Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies conducts regular energy reviews to identify areas with high energy consumption and potential energy wastage across campus. These reviews help us assess energy usage in buildings, facilities, and other energy-intensive operations. By examining heating, lighting, ventilation, and electrical systems, we identify areas where energy consumption is higher than necessary and plan targeted improvements accordingly.

Through these reviews, TSUOS aims to implement efficient practices and technologies, such as upgrading to energy-efficient lighting and optimizing HVAC systems.

For example, at TSUOS, the highest energy consumption is centered on the main campus located at 20 Amir Temur Street. This is primarily because this campus houses a significant number of buildings, along with a large student and faculty population. The energy consumed here is mainly used for purposes such as lighting and heating classrooms and offices to ensure a comfortable and conducive environment for learning and teaching.

Several practical measures have been implemented to reduce energy consumption on campus. For example, heat-reflective panels have been installed between radiators and walls to prevent heat from escaping, significantly helping to reduce unnecessary energy loss. Additionally, insulation has been applied to heating system pipes, further improving energy efficiency by minimizing heat dissipation. These steps play a vital role in ensuring that energy is used effectively, supporting a more sustainable and cost-efficient environment on campus.

Given this demand, optimizing energy efficiency at the main campus has become a priority, with efforts focused on sustainable practices to reduce overall energy usage.
