Fostering Academic Partnerships
On March 22, 2024, the Rector of TSUOS, G. Rikhsieva, visited Minzu University and met with its President, Professor Guo Guangsheng. During the meeting, both universities discussed collaboration opportunities and agreed to establish a Central Asian Studies Center at TSUOS. Additionally, they explored the implementation of three research projects proposed by TSUOS scholars, focusing on historical ties, tourism, and economic relations between Central Asia and China.
As part of the academic exchange program, it was agreed that seven Chinese students would study at TSUOS, while seven TSUOS students would pursue their studies at Minzu University for one academic year.
Additionally, the Rector of TSUOS, G. Rikhsieva, delivered a special lecture for students learning the Uzbek language at Minzu University. During the lecture, students were introduced to the national values of the Uzbek people, particularly the Navruz holiday and spring traditions.
