Intellectual Games on International Tourism Day
On the occasion of International Tourism Day, the Institute of Foreign Policy and International Economic Relations, the Department of Tourism, and the Youth Union of Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies organized the “Zakovat” intellectual game among students.
The event was opened by Associate Professor Ch. Khusanov, head of the Tourism Department, who spoke about the role of tourism in the national economy and ongoing reforms in the sector. The institute’s director, D. Salaev, congratulated the participants on the occasion and wished them success.
More than 200 students participated in the competition, representing over 30 teams.
The main goal of the project was to strengthen students’ knowledge of tourism, economics, and international relations, as well as to develop critical thinking and teamwork skills. The winners were awarded diplomas and commemorative gifts at the end of the event.
