International cooperation on improving the quality of education: Türkiye
1: October 19-21, 2023 Associate Professor of the Department of Translation Studies and International Journalism Ph.D. Dilshoda Mubarakova participated in the 15th International World Language Turkish Conference organized by Sakarya University of Türkiye with an article. During the conference, a number of proposals and recommendations were made in order to teach, promote and improve the quality of the Turkish language.
2: On October 26-27, 2023, the International Symposium “Zamakhshari is a scholar of all fields” was held at Sivas Cumhuriyet University of the Republic of Türkiye. At this symposium, the head of the department of organization of research activities of gifted student, the senior teacher of the department of Oriental philosophy and culture, Ph.D. Laziz Turayev, also participated online with his article entitled “Analysis of the chapters of Mahmud Zamakhshari’s work “Rabi’ al-Abror” and its composition”.
3: A discussion on “Today and tomorrow of Uzbekistan-Türkiye relations” dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Türkiye was organized at Tashkent state university of oriental studies.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Türkiye to Uzbekistan Olgan Bekar made a speech and noted that our countries were connected by eternal friendship and harmonious cultural ties.
The book “Selected Works of Uzbek Literature: Stories – Poems (Anthology)” by Professor Khairulla Hamidov was presented at the event. The book contains Turkish translations of the most beautiful works of famous Uzbek writers and poets.
Lectures on the development of Uzbekistan-Türkiye relations were also given at the event. A video on the topic “Historical look at the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Türkiye” prepared by Arzu Karausta, a 2nd-year graduate student of Tashkent state university of oriental studies, was shown.
4: On November 3, 2023, Dj. Shabanov, Dean of the Faculty of Turkic Studies at TSUOS, and Sh. Sodiqova, Head of the Department of “Uzbek Language and Literature” delivered a lecture entitled “Alisher Navoi and Uzbek Linguistics” for one of TSUOS’s foreign partners’ professors and teachers, as well as students at Erzurum Atatürk University, Türkiye. After the lecture, there was a lively discussion. The speaker gave a detailed answer to the questions of the listeners.
