International Internship Programs in Japan
In accordance with the cooperation agreement signed between Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies (TSUOS) and Japan’s “Reigi-Sahou” Association, a group of TSUOS students will undertake internships in leading hotels and organizations in Japan in August 2024. This initiative has become an important step in deeply learning modern service culture and labor principles in Japan, enhancing the professional potential of youth, and preparing them for the global labor market.
By gaining experience from Japan’s advanced service sector, the students have acquired modern professional skills, which significantly increase their employability and contribute to the development of a competitive workforce in Uzbekistan.
In this regard, the Dean of the Faculty of Japanese Studies, E. Matchanov, and Vice Dean M. Nadjimkhodjaev visited the Tokyo head office of the “Reigi-Sahou” Association, where they discussed issues of bilateral cooperation and future plans and projects with the leadership of the association.
Furthermore, representatives of the university visited the hotels where students are undergoing internships and closely familiarized themselves with the students’ learning and work processes, living, and working conditions. This plays a vital role in enabling young people to gain international labor experience, ensuring decent work opportunities, and expanding their economic prospects.
