Internship of the members of the “Young Orientalist Diplomats” club
On September 28, 2023, a dialogue was held at Tashkent state university of oriental studies with the members of the “Young Orientalist Diplomats” club, who have completed internships in embassies of the Republic of Uzbekistan abroad.
A 4th-year student of the Faculty of “Korean Studies”, majoring in Political Science, who had an internship as an ambassador’s assistant at the embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the Russian Federation, in the Department of the Ambassador’s Administration from August 14 to September 3 Dilmurodov Saidmurad participated in the event. During the internship, he became familiar with the activities of the ambassador’s administration, cultural-humanitarian, political, consular, and protocol departments. In addition, he dealt with protocol issues in organizing high-level meetings together with experienced diplomats.
Abdusattorova Ezozabanu, a 3rd-year student of the Faculty of Turkic Studies, majoring in Political Science, also had an internship at the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Ankara, Türkiye, on August 14-25, 2023, and spoke about it during the event. During the internship, E. Abdusattorova got to know the activities of the Embassy (political orientation, economic diplomacy, consular work, cultural and humanitarian activities, education, etc.). E. Abdusattorova took part in the events organized by the Embassy and other organizations and agencies, prepared several information materials on these events, and sent them to the “World” news agency.
Kuchkarov Maruf, a 3rd-year student of the Faculty of economics, politics and tourism of the East, majoring in Political Science, had a diplomatic internship at the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the Islamic Republic of Iran from August 14 to 26, 2023, participated in the event as well. During his internship, M. Kuchkarov became familiar with the activities conducted by the Embassy in the field of economic diplomacy, including attracting investments and increasing the volume of exports. The exporter of the embassy studied the working method and directly participated in its implementation. Besides, he learned the functional tasks of the consular department of the Embassy and how to work with “compatriots” citizens of Uzbekistan temporarily and permanently residing in Iran. He visited the Economic Cooperation Organization and got to know the activities and team of the Organization.
