Meeting with the rector regarding the employment of students
On March 15, 2022, Rector of Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies Gulchekhra Rikhsieva, Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual and Educational Affairs Kudratulla Omonov, Advisor of Rector Asilbek Shukurov and Dean of the Faculty of Korean Studies Shoira Usmanova held an open dialogue with the students of the Faculty of Korean Studies. The main goal of the dialogue was the implementation of the priority tasks of the meeting of video selectors held by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on “Measures to improve the living standards of students of higher education institutions by ensuring their employment”. During the dialogue, ideas were exchanged on ensuring the employment of students, placing students in vacant positions, and involving students in paid internships with partner organizations.
TSUOS rector G.Rikhsieva gave detailed information to the students about the currently vacant positions in the university such as “Assistant Rector” and “Cabinet Head”. In addition, he noted that the university’s partner organizations were given relevant instructions on sending students to internships, and the vice-rector for educational affairs A.Vakhidov is conducting negotiations with the partner organizations in this regard.
The vice-rector for youth affairs K.Omonov gave full instructions for starting language courses and sports clubs in the areas attached to the university and noted that practical support will be provided by the university management.
The dean of the faculty Sh.Usmanova told the students that the issue of sending students for internships to foreign partner organizations is being considered with the faculty’s international partners, but that a number of problems are arising during the pandemic and that these problems will be solved soon.
During the dialogue, Mirjamilova Sevinch, 1st-year Uzbek group student of the economy of a foreign country, Abdurahmanov Bekzod, 2nd-year Uzbek group of Foreign Country Economy, Ergashev Abdurahman, Iroda Torakulova, 2nd-year student of philology and language teaching, 3rd-year student of Philology and Language Teaching, made suggestions on the topic. In addition, Aydarani Lazizabonu, a 3rd-year philology student of the Russian group, expressed his gratitude for the open dialogue.
