Pearls of Azerbaijani Poetry
On September 19, 2024, students of the School of Turkic Studies at the Institute of Eastern Languages and Literature of Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies (TSUOS) participated in the reading competition “Pearls of Azerbaijani Poetry”, organized under a joint project by the Heydar Aliyev Azerbaijani Cultural Center in Uzbekistan and the Monitoring Center under the State Language Commission of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Lazizbek Nomozov won 1st place, and Feruza Sultanova won 3rd place, receiving diplomas and commemorative gifts.
In addition, TSUOS students Dilnura Ulashova, Maftuna Bozorova, Munisa Qodirova, Raxila Maksudova, and Omina Rustamova participated online in the competition and were awarded certificates.
To introduce the winners to Azerbaijan’s history and culture, they were invited to visit Baku.
