“Pride of our academic lyceum” and “Rector’s Scholarship” award ceremony
On April 14, 2022, Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies held an awarding ceremony for the “Pride of our academic lyceum” scholarship and “Rector’s scholarship”. Rikhsiyeva Gulchehra Shаvkatovna opened the event, congratulated the scholarship holders on their achievements, and wished them success in their future academic fields.
Based on the tasks defined in the decision of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan №4910 of December 3, 2020 “On measures to improve the system of selecting talented young people and the activities of academic lyceums”, these scholarships have been introduced, and the awardees are selected from among the most worthy candidates every academic year by conducting a competition among the students of the academic lyceum of the university. This year, 10 students of the academic lyceum were awarded the “Pride of our academic lyceum” scholarship and 4 students were awarded the “Rector’s scholarship” with a scholarship equal to 2 times the amount of the basic calculation.
