Promoting Mental Health
On November 21, 2024, in honor of International Psychologists’ Day, the Faculty of Applied Sciences and the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology at Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies organized a scientific roundtable discussion with the participation of students, dedicated to the topic of mental health and psychological well-being. The event was opened by the faculty dean, A. Vakhidov.
The roundtable featured a scientific lecture by Olga Valentinovna Mitina, Candidate of Psychological Sciences and Associate Professor, a leading specialist at the Faculty of Psychology of Lomonosov Moscow State University, head of the “Mathematical Psychology” seminar in Moscow, and author of the research program “Political Psychosemantics”, on the topic: “Psychomatic Method of Analyzing Public Consciousness”.
During the event, students and specialists exchanged views on the role of mental health in society, as well as modern psychological methods and approaches. The discussion was rich in questions, debates, and scientific insights.
This event served as an important initiative, particularly focused on strengthening mental health and promoting psychological literacy.
