Republican competition in the Uzbek language
A republican competition “Uzbek language – translator of my heart” was held among foreign students studying in higher education institutions by the Uzbek language development foundation under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Cabinet of Ministers.
On October 18, 2023, the 3rd phase of the final stage of this competition and an awarding ceremony were held at Tashkent State University of Economics.
According to the final result, the people below were awarded as the winners:
1st place: Ruka Watanabe (Japan), a student at Tashkent state university of oriental studies;
2nd place: Maehwa Gong (South Korea), a student at Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute;
3rd place: Adnan Hussain (Pakistan), an Andijan State Medical Institute student.
They were given diplomas of I, II, and III degrees, cash prizes of 40, 30, and 20 times the base calculation amount, and souvenirs. Also, the participants were recognized with nominations for “The best promoter of the Uzbek language”, “Uzbek language is the pride of my heart”, “I love the Uzbek language” and motivational awards.
