Strengthening Partnerships to Achieve the Goals
On May 29, 2024, a delegation led by Fariza Sham, Director of the Institute of Islamic Civilization at the National University of Malaysia, visited Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies. During the negotiations, issues of bilateral cooperation and future plans were discussed.
This visit is directly related to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 17, which emphasizes the importance of strengthening global partnerships and achieving sustainable development through education, research, and knowledge sharing. Developing cooperation between educational institutions, enhancing bilateral scientific relations, and promoting cultural understanding contribute significantly to fostering peace and solidarity. As a result of the discussions, both sides agreed to further expand cooperation on shared future objectives.
