TSUOS Delegation in Japan
In July 2024, Elyor Matchanov, Dean of the Faculty of Japanese Studies, and Marufkhodja Nadjimkhodjaev, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Japanese Studies at Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies (TSUOS), visited Japan. During the trip, they visited one of the world’s most prestigious universities – Hiroshima University.
On July 30, 2024, during a meeting with the representatives of our university, the Vice-President of Hiroshima University, Professor Shinji Kaneko, Professor Kumiko Sakoda from the Faculty of Global Studies, and Tetsuro Yamasaka, Honorary Professor of the university and founder of Balcom Company, participated in the discussions.
During the talks, bilateral cooperation issues and future plans were discussed, with particular attention to exchanging ideas on teaching the Japanese language. Agreements were made regarding short- and long-term educational programs for undergraduate and graduate students, academic exchanges between the professors of both universities and the implementation of joint research projects.
