We Are All Responsible for the Environment
On October 31, 2024, a roundtable discussion on the topic “We Are All Responsible for the Environment” was held at the student dormitory of Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies. The event featured renowned eco-activist, blogger, and founder of the “Urik Guli” initiative, Mutabar Khushvakhtova.
During the discussion, students exchanged views on environmental awareness, the importance of maintaining cleanliness—especially in personal living spaces such as student dormitories—and the need to protect the environment. Topics such as integrating ecological values into daily life, reducing waste, and promoting green initiatives were also addressed.
Such initiatives represent an important step toward fostering environmental culture among youth, building a sustainable society, and creating a healthy environment for future generations.
