MAIN TASKS OF THE DEPARTMENT OF SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH AND INNOVATION:
- Monitoring the scientific activities of the university’s teaching staff, researchers, doctoral students, basic doctoral students, independent researchers, and research trainees.
- Planning, developing, and overseeing the implementation of scientific projects.
- Ensuring control over the implementation of annual plans for training scientific and pedagogical personnel in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
- Promoting the integration of the educational process with scientific research by widely involving teaching staff, researchers, doctoral students, basic doctoral students, independent researchers, research trainees, and students in research activities.
- Monitoring the implementation of annual reports of the university’s faculties and departments on planned scientific work.
- In accordance with agreements, the Department of Scientific Research and Innovation ensures the exchange and utilization of information with other higher educational institutions and research institutes of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan for conducting joint research, conferences, symposiums, and for publishing scientific literature.
- Planning conferences, symposiums, seminars, and meetings, as well as facilitating the publication of scientific collections and materials of conferences, symposiums, seminars, and other scientific events.
- Organizing admission to basic doctoral and doctoral programs.
- Approving research topics and supervisors for those admitted to basic doctoral and doctoral programs at Council meetings.
- Determining the composition of commissions for admission to basic doctoral programs and for conducting qualification examinations.
- Conducting annual attestation of research trainees, doctoral students, and independent researchers within the established сроки.
- Organizing scientific events within the Council of Young Scientists for young teachers, researchers, doctoral students, basic doctoral students, independent researchers, research trainees, and gifted students, as well as ensuring their active participation in these events.
