International Seminar-Training Dedicated to the Goals of Inclusive Education

On March 5, 2026, a scientific and practical seminar-training titled “Overcoming Barriers to Inclusive University Goals in Uzbekistan” was held at Westminster International University in Tashkent. The event was organized within the framework of the British Council’s “Disability Inclusion Partnerships” international project. The Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies participated in this project as a partner university.

The event was attended by Saodat Saidakbarova, Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Western Languages at the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies, as well as faculty members Nodir Murodiloyev and Shakhnoza Safoyeva, and Nigora Rozziqova, a master’s student in the English language program.

During the seminar-training, participants discussed the development of inclusive education, ensuring equal opportunities in higher education institutions, and expanding quality and inclusive education within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The event was conducted by professors from the United Kingdom, who provided practical recommendations based on international experience.
This seminar plays an important role in promoting an inclusive environment in the higher education system, strengthening international cooperation, and contributing to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals.
