Meeting with industry experts on “Radical improvement of the legal and institutional system of consumer protection”
On January 22, 2020, a seminar was held at the Tashkent State Institute of Oriental Studies at the Faculty of Economics of Foreign Countries and World Politics on the implementation of the tasks set by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated 18.09.2019 PF-5817 “On radical improvement of the legal and institutional system of consumer protection.”
The seminar was attended by Deputy Head of the Tashkent Regional Antimonopoly Department, Head of the Department of Consumer Protection and Regulation of Advertising S. Sadikov, who spoke in detail about state protection of consumer rights and informed those present about the rights and obligations of consumers. He also briefed on the main tasks of the Agency for Consumer Protection, established under the Antimonopoly Committee.
Professor R. Dzhumaev, head of the department, Ph.D. M. Kamilova, senior teacher N. Imamova, senior teacher G. Sattikulova, shared their opinions. At the end of the seminar, a fourth-year student B. Ismoilov, a third-year student R. Gayratjonov asked questions from representatives of Tashkent Regional Antimonopoly Department to which they received appropriate answers. The event was held in a warm atmosphere, all those present listened with interest and actively participated in the seminar.
