Representatives of the KOICA-KIDC organization visited Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies

In anticipation of the event, and with the aim of providing comprehensive information to the students of Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies, Mrs. Im Sangmi — Project Manager of the KOCE initiative under KOICA-KIDC, which focuses on enhancing the potential of Uzbek youth — paid an official visit to the Higher School of Korean Studies.
During the visit, a meaningful and interactive roundtable discussion was held between Mrs. Im Sangmi and the students of the Graduate School of Korean Studies. The session focused on educational and career opportunities available in the Republic of Korea.
For reference: KOCE is a program designed to provide practical assistance to Uzbek youth in pursuing education and employment opportunities in South Korea.
The event will feature four thematic booths, each with a specific focus:
- Education and Employment Booth: This booth will provide detailed information on obtaining a visa, applying to educational institutions in Korea, scholarship opportunities, and current job openings.
- Life and Work Culture in Korea Booth: Participants will be introduced to daily life in Korea, local customs, business etiquette, and corporate culture to better prepare them for integration into Korean society.
- Document Preparation Consultation Booth: Attendees will have the opportunity to receive one-on-one consultations on preparing CVs, personal statements for university admission, and employment application documents.
- Interview Training Booth: This booth will offer practical training based on frequently asked questions in interviews for graduate school and job applications. Participants will also receive a resource pack titled “Interview Strategies.”
