The Scientific Heritage of Makhmud Zamakhshari and His Role in World Civilization
On March 18, 2026, an international scientific-practical conference titled “The Scientific Heritage of Makhmud Zamakhshari and His Role in World Civilization” was held at the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies.
This prestigious conference was organized within the framework of a practical project aimed at creating the electronic platform mahmudzamaxshariy.uz, which includes a catalog of manuscript copies of Makhmud Zamakhshari’s works preserved in world collections, as well as the publication of a collection of selected works on social and ethical issues.
During the event, speakers highlighted the significance and role of Makhmud Zamakhshari’s scientific heritage in the development of world civilization.
As part of the conference, sectional meetings were organized, bringing together scholars, researchers, and specialists from Uzbekistan, Egypt, Algeria, the Sultanate of Oman, Tajikistan, and other countries.
This international scientific-practical conference contributed to the in-depth study of Makhmud Zamakhshari’s scientific legacy, the development of academic research, and the strengthening of international scientific cooperation.
