The Scientific Heritage of Mahmud Zamakhshari and Its Role in World Civilization

INFORMATION LETTER
The Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies will hold an international scientific and practical conference on March 18, 2026, on the topic:
“The Scientific Heritage of Mahmud Zamakhshari and Its Role in World Civilization.”
This international conference is dedicated to studying the multifaceted scientific heritage of the great scholar Mahmud Zamakhshari based on modern scientific approaches, as well as highlighting the significance of his works in the development of world science and culture.
Linguists, Qur’anic exegetes (tafsir scholars), literary scholars, source studies specialists, philosophers, and young researchers conducting research on Mahmud Zamakhshari’s scientific heritage are invited to participate.
Conference Sections
Scientific articles and abstracts are accepted in the following sections:
- Mahmud Zamakhshari’s contribution to Arabic linguistics
- Mahmud Zamakhshari’s literary-didactic heritage and his socio-philosophical views
- Source-study issues of Mahmud Zamakhshari’s scientific heritage
- актуальные issues of digitization and cataloging of Mahmud Zamakhshari’s works
Authors must clearly indicate the section to which their article belongs.
ARTICLE REQUIREMENTS
- Length: 5–8 pages
- Languages: Uzbek, Russian, English, Arabic, Turkish
- Format: A4, Times New Roman, font size 14, line spacing 1.5
- Abstract and keywords (in 3 languages) are required
- References must follow international standards (APA / Chicago)
- In-text citations should be given in square brackets (e.g., [1, p. 100])
The reference number must correspond to the bibliography list: [1] – Uvatov U. Mahmud Zamahshariy. – T.: Abdulla Qodiriy nomidagi Xalq merosi nashriyoti, 1995).
Conference materials will be indexed in Google Scholar.
A DOI (Digital Object Identifier) will be assigned to each article.
Participants will be provided with an electronic proceedings collection and a certificate.
Articles and abstracts must be submitted electronically to the organizing committee by March 10, 2026. (Submissions received after the deadline or those that do not meet the specified requirements will not be accepted and will not be returned to the authors. Contributors are kindly requested to strictly observe the deadline and adhere to academic ethics.)
Conference materials, indexed with DOI, will be sent to each participant in electronic (PDF) format. Those who participate with their articles will be awarded an electronic certificate.
