Tashkent State Institute of Oriental Studies continues cooperation with prestigious universities of the world. Jaimee Comstock-Skipp is a lecturer at Leiden University (Netherlands). This university is included in ranking list of the 500 best universities around the world. And she is presently undergoing internship for a 3-month in TSIOS. Jaimee Comstock-Skipp gave lessons in Persian and English languages to students of Persian-English groups of the second and third courses from the Faculty of Oriental Philology on various topics, including “The Art of Miniature in Central Asia during the Shaibanids’ reign”, “The Bukhara School in Miniature Art” period of the Shaibanids. The training seminar was designed for 20 hours of classes, and is primarily aimed at broadening and deepening the horizons of our students, increasing their knowledge in the field of culture and art. For that reason, the opportunities are being created in order to familiarize and study some trends in the scientific field at leading universities in the world.
